Worcestershire wedding photographer
Hello everyone!
So here we are, my favourite photos from 2021. I’m actually quite impressed with myself that I’ve managed to do this before the end of January! Albeit the last day in January!
2021: You were bonkers!
Going from only shooting 3 weddings in 2020 due to the dreaded Covid-19, to shooting way more than usual from June – October was a complete shock to the system! I hadn’t shot a full day wedding since November 2019!
Like every wedding photographer in the country I was so busy, but every single one of my couples were so lovely, patient and understanding, and I will be forever grateful to each of you. Nobody rushed me for photos, as they knew I was going as fast as I could without falling to pieces!
As always, I shot at some gorgeous venues; the local favourites, Old Rectory House, Bordesley Park & Gorcott Hall. Then there were some new ones further afield that I hadn’t shot at before. One of which was Hundred House Hotel in Telford which was stunning! The gardens there were magical! As much as I love being at the local venues as I could practically walk to each of them, it’s nice to be somewhere different that I haven’t been to before.
Another gorgeous venue which was a new one to me was the West Midlands Safari Park. I didn’t realise that they have an incredible building called Spring Grove House alongside the park which can be used for events. It was beautiful, and I couldn’t resist getting the couple into the park after hours for some quirky shots!
Once again I have worked with some incredible suppliers, some I knew and some I didn’t. It’s so nice to see new companies now emerging after lockdown from people who may have been made redundant now following their dreams.
Just a quick thank you to the venues, and suppliers who are always so amazing. To my fellow photography friends who helped me out last year. Personally it was a tough one but you all had my back and I am so thankful. One more… to my family and friends who continue to support me 12 years on in my business, and especially to my boyfriend who is always so encouraging and pushes me further to pursue this dream of mine.
Anyway that’s enough of me waffling on. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my couples who trust me to take these images for you on the most important day of your lives. I will never take for granted how huge that is.
Here are a few (alot!) of my favourite images from last year, here’s to an awesome 2022!
