Warwickshire Wedding – Kim & Lewis
This wedding was featured on the fabulous Whimsical Wonderland Wedding blog a month or so ago but we just had to feature it on our blog too! Enjoy!
We met Kim & Lewis at the Chesford Grange wedding fair in January 2014, and we instantly clicked with them, so much so that they cancelled the photographer they already had, then booked and paid for the deposit with us later on that day! We felt very lucky to have Kim and Lewis to photograph as they are such a lovely pair and so in love! We did their engagement shoot earlier on in the year in Warwick. Warwick was a place they would come to quite a lot and meant something to them as a couple so that was lovely.
Their wedding was in July 2014 and it was a beautiful sunny day. We started off at The Church Street Townhouse in Stratford Upon Avon which is where Kim was getting ready with her Mom and Bridesmaids. Kim had a gorgeous simple Grace Kelly inspired dress by Alan Hannah paired with her something blue gift from Lewis being those gorgeous Manolo Blahnik shoes! The ceremony was then at St Nicolas Church in Kenilworth.
After the ceremony and the beautiful confetti we headed off to Longbourne Barn in Kineton. They had decorated this barn themselves the day before with chandeliers, deer heads, mirrors, and beautiful flowers and amazing dinner sets. It was so lovely to see all their hard work pay off in this venue, it looked absolutely breathtaking. We took off for some couple pictures and the possibilities were endless with the grounds at this venue.
The whole day was a delight to be part of and the speeches were fantastic! Probably the best we have heard, and had everyone creasing with laughter! The couple topped the night off with their first dance and it truly was one of our favourites from 2014. Thank you guys! 🙂 (full list of credits below)
